Student documentarians at Housatonic Valley Regional high school, in cooperation with the Civil Life Project, produced a short documentary on student privacy issues. The documentary asks administrators, students, and privacy experts what they think about school policy that says students have ‘no expectation of privacy’ on school-owned devices and internet networks. The video identifies a significant gap between what administrators say they need and what students think is acceptable.
