How’s the Occupy movement affecting security and policing in the US?

According to Alternet's Sarah Jaffe, Occupy is having a pretty serious impact on policing and security at the nation's major banking institutions. The people have the bankers scared, and perhaps unsurprisingly the bankers are turning to the security industrial complex for help. It appears that the 1% is mighty terrified of the wrath of the 99% visiting them in their fancy offices and homes. Here in Boston last week, a demonstration of students and activists descended upon the home of a Bank of America executive. It wasn't long before police in riot gear showed up to encourage the demonstrators to take their chants elsewhere:

Another sign that Occupy has the elites running scared? Bloomberg.com has dedicated an entire blog to the subject, looking at the protests from the top-down.
