Transparency website Cryptome published what appear to be FBI guides to US military personnel for securing their social media use. A military member forwarded an email with the subject line "Social Media security measures (Cheat Sheets)" to Cryptome, along with attachments describing what to do (and what not to do) on Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, and Twitter.
They're useful guides not just for military members, but for everyone. Apparently the FBI really cares about some people's privacy—just maybe not yours and mine. Sounds familiar.
