Police killing of suspect raises protest, police violence

On Saturday 21 July 2012 police in Anaheim, CA shot to death a man officers say was running from them. People from the dead man's community staged an impromptu protest to confront what one community organizer called his "extrajudicial" killing at the hands of police. This is what happened next:

There were subsequently multiple reports from people on the scene that police attempted to buy the cellphone footage of what you can see in the video above. Obviously some people didn't sell their footage to the police, so now we can see the cops letting loose an attack dog on a woman and her child, as well as firing "less than lethals" into a crowd of civilians.

Civilians really is the word for the domestic population when police forces act more like militaries in foreign wars than they do civil servants intent on protecting people from harm.
