Police state UK? Minor crimes punishable by years in prison while police beatings don’t warrant investigation

The above clip describes how police in the UK have persued legal action against a number of protesters for very minor crimes, winning sentences of over a year for at least two of them. On the other hand, police have not been investigated at all for assaulting protesters, including causing bleeding on the brain of one young man who now faces up to five years prison time.
