Say NO to SCOMM: Friday 11 May, JFK Plaza, Boston

So-called "Secure Communities" is just the opposite. It is a dragnet intelligence gathering scheme that will unfairly discriminate against Latino immigrants, make police work harder and cities more dangerous, and destroy families.

Flouting the authority of Masschusetts Governor Deval Patrick, who agreed that the program does more harm than good and declined to participate, the federal government is forcing the "Show Me Your Papers"/surveillance program on the entire state, starting next week.

If you are in the Boston area, come out tomorrow to say NO to SCOMM.

JFK Plaza, at Government Center

Friday 11 May | 11 AM – 1 PM
