Students at Northwestern High School organized a walk out to protest overcrowded classrooms, poor food, and mistreatment of their teachers. Police intimidated the students with dogs, and four students were suspended — one of whom for committing "thought crimes." The brother of one of the young women in this clip, an honors student lauded for his activism, was accused of conspiring to plan the walkout.

Kudos to these students for flexing their rights and fighting for what they believe in. Watch the video to hear them talk about their work; they are impressive young people.
