Twitter today informed user @destructuremal that the State of New York had issued a subpoena for his account information. The account holder, Malcolm Harris of New York City, is an Occupy Wall Street activist who has been involved in movement organizing since at least September 2011.

Military exercises in LA echo those held in Boston last year

Last year, we linked to an article in a local Boston newspaper reporting a special joint Boston police and US military drill at an elementary school in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of the city. The video above shows another such drill -- a joint exercise by the LAPD and the US military.
